1) ... probably the kayfabe. The mask he wears, his ability to charm and deceive and make others love his persona while knowing nothing of the true him, allowing him to pursue his goals in secrecy. 2) He’s incredibly cunning and intelligent. Despite being a fake detective, he’s smart enough to be a real one, though he wouldn’t see it like that—but instead as a skill in using his intelligence to out-think his opponents and get what he wants. 3) Determination. Akechi has been through hell, years of it, and persevered to see through his goals without surrender, no matter what it did to him, no matter the cost.
⬥ What do others consider to be your character's worst weakness?
Likely his massive contempt for and distrust of others, leading him to reject friendship and teammates at a price as high as his own life when all the sacrifices he made were never truly necessary to begin with.
⬥ How does your character interact with others?
Outwardly Akechi is very charming, pleasant, and kind person who seems devoted to truth and justice, but none of this could be further from the truth. Around people who know what he’s truly like, Akechi is blunt and serious, rather unsparing with a dry and sarcastic sense of humor and an aggressive, insane edge to his behavior. Most people will see the pleasant boy; few if any will see the real person beneath.

Up until his death it was revenge upon his father. Shortly before that death he realized this was a foolish goal, and he’d been little more than a tool all along. For someone who has lived only for the hollow goal of forcing a monster of a man to recognize him, only to realize too late that was forever out of his reach, what will motivate him now is something he’ll have to discover for himself.

Traditionally, with case work at the SIU, school work, TV appearances and other media requirements, food blogging, and a great deal of reading.

When Akechi was a child, his greatest desire was to be a hero. Before he died, his greatest desire was revenge upon/to be recognized by his father. These are one and the same desire, simply twisted by time and an uncaring world. Deeper down than that... to be loved, by anyone.
